Clear plastic with printed image on backside. 
 
I have used these keychains in the past for my podcast, and they are pretty durable.  The backing is printed, so they can get nicked and scrached over time if stored with a wad of keys in your pocket.  Eric
 
Remember to remove the clear plastic protective cover so the colors "pop".
